As a Certified Public Accountant, I will bring professional expertise and integrity to ensure every taxpayer dollar is used wisely for our students. I will push for a comprehensive, independent forensic audit to identify and eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and direct more resources into classrooms. Parents, teachers, and taxpayers deserve complete transparency and confidence that our district’s finances truly serve our children’s education.
High Academic Expectations
My highest priority is restoring a culture of high expectations in our schools, beginning with ensuring every child reads proficiently by the end of 3rd grade. Strong reading skills at this stage are the foundation for all future academic success and the key to unlocking every student’s potential. By focusing on proven teaching methods and accountability, we can equip our children with the tools they need to excel in school and in life.
Standing Strong for Our Teachers
Our hardworking teachers are the backbone of student achievement and deserve respect, support, and the tools to excel—without compromising fiscal responsibility. I will advocate for empowering educators through smart investments in classroom autonomy, professional development, and a safe, disciplined learning environment. By supporting our teachers wisely, we ensure every dollar strengthens both their effectiveness and our students’ success.
Student Accountability
I believe every classroom must be a safe haven for learning, with zero tolerance for aggressive or violent conduct. By setting clear rules and strict consequences, we can hold students accountable and protect the well-being of both students and teachers. Strong discipline is essential to restoring respect, order, and academic excellence in our schools.
Safety and Security
The safety of our students is non‑negotiable — every child deserves to learn in a secure, protected environment. I will champion strong local control and commonsense security measures that prevent dangers before they happen, while ensuring our educators are fully equipped to respond swiftly and effectively to any threat. Protecting our children is our most sacred duty, and I will treat it with the seriousness it deserves.
Defend Parental Rights
Parents are the primary decision-makers in their children’s lives, and their voice must be respected in every aspect of education. I will fight to ensure full transparency in curriculum, policies, and communications, so parents are informed and involved at every step. When families and schools work together, our children thrive—academically, emotionally, and morally.
Culture War Free Curriculum
I believe our schools should focus on teaching the basics—strong reading, math, science, and traditional, fact-based history—without political or “woke” agendas in the classroom. As a school board member, I will fight to keep the culture wars out of our schools, ensure transparency in curriculum, and keep parents fully informed and involved. By returning to proven, high academic standards, we can prepare our children to excel and uphold the values that make our community and country strong.
